Welcome to Bookville, USA!This is more than just the online presence of a used bookstore. Owned and operated by the author of more than fifty published novels, it is a celebration of literary history and tradition, as well as the power of the written word. It champions reading as vital to individual success and self-image, not to mention essential to the survival of society. Reading develops language skills as well as the imagination. It develops the mind. In a world where so many people seem unable to think for themselves, or to articulate their ideas or opinions, reading facilitates communication between individuals. Reading is an adventure that can take you around the world and across the galaxies, that can take you back or forward into time. It is one of the great ironies of modern life that in this age of technology in which everyone can be so "connected" that more and more people are feeling increasingly isolated. Reading is what will connect you to humanity and help you understand your place in the grand scheme of things.
